OK ... after some thought, I've come to the conclusion, that PuppetSprite shouldn't be trying to represent itself as primarily a web design studio ... for a variety of reasons.
Its primariy a creative studio ... that makes animations, shorts, commercials, music videos, stop motion, etc ... it also has an interactive division, that makes websites, ecommerce, ads, games for web, iphone, ipad, etc. Well for now, maybe it shouldn't make those claims either. Better to stay small, humble. Make claims that can be backed up. Also, part of this decision has to do with branding ... is PuppetSprite really an appropriate entity to go after more corporate clients? Probably not, Arthur Cormack design INC is probably a better way to go. More sober, and immaculate. Less to Mock. PuppetSprite can be devited to creative things. And ultimately, it is PuppetSprite that is more interesting, sort of. Perhaps differently interesting ... its creative. Original. Appropriate for Stop Motion Animation, and interactive fun. But not appropriate for selling heliping more serious / boring / less humorous companies acheive their goals. So ... I need two websites ... PuppetSprite ... and Arthur Cormack. They shouldn't appear to be the same thing at all. THis is so that both pursuits can be stronger. Trying to tie both of these things together, weakens them both somewhat. Or does it?
